If you have a lot of pages that don’t provide any value, you may need to remove them from your site’s navigation.
But make sure you don’t go too down the route of deleting all your inner pages!
If you do this, you’ll lose all the SEO value you’ve built up by linking to your homepage content.
The important thing is to have an SEO-friendly site that’s up to date, so don’t just remove the pages you don’t want anymore.
You should add the pages you want to have on your site’s navigation links. But don’t be tempted to add all of your inner pages to your navigation links unless you have a lot of them!

But you can make it easier for people to navigate your site with some internal links to relevant pages on your site, so it’s worth it.
If you don’t have any internal links to inner pages, or if you only have internal links to your homepage, then your site is probably missing out on a lot of valuable inbound links.
But if you do have internal links to relevant pages, it’s a good idea to add them.
5. Get people to link to you
Once you’ve added internal links to relevant pages, you can ask your visitors to link to your pages.

You can search for your target keywords and find out how your competitors are doing in the SERP for those keywords.
If you’re seeing a lot of pages with high anchor text, this is a good sign that someone linked to you.
But you should check out the anchor text of all your internal links, and see if you can find a way to improve your link building.
For example, you can find out which of your pages have a lot of internal link opportunities and add some of them to your navigation links.
If you don’t have a lot of valuable inbound links, you can add your internal links to your homepage content.
